#WatchTitleWin Facebook Promotion

In 2015, the Earth Touch News Network partnered with Sugru for a Facebook promotion. The #WatchTitleWin competition ran from February 6 – February 27 with the following core objectives:

– Increase the Earth Touch Facebook following

– Increase Facebook engagement

– Increase video views on the Animal Action Cam series (and test the efficacy of Facebook video hosting)

 

Facebook posts for each leg of the competition were promoted to both SA and US audiences (22-40). The demographic was targeted using ‘Facebook interests’ with a variety of options tested in newsfeeds across both mobile and desktop devices. Primary targeting consisted of users not connected to Earth Touch.

 

The promotion helped generate a substantial number of video views at a relatively low cost per view. Further insights were gleaned regarding the target market and their proclivity to engage with video on Facebook.
